Two New Haikus

Snowflakes fall gently;
White against the darker shade
Of the evergreens.

Wind blows; leaves rustle.
Shivering,I wrap my coat
Around my body.

Limerick

Here's a limerick I made up last night:

There once was a man who loved to eat
Fruits, vegetables, candy and meat.
But one day he stopped,
For his belly had popped,
And all that was left were his feet.

My Birthday

So far, this has been a great day! We got to sleep in an extra hour, we had no morning chores or school work, and best of all, we had cowboy cake for breakfast! I can't wait for Arden to open his presents. I made him a kite. But don't tell him that.

1...2...3..Dresses

At dinner tonight Kenna came to the table wearing one of my Christmas dresses. I don't mind her wearing my dresses, but during mealtime is a different matter. Mom toled her to go change, and she came back wearing one of my pretty summer dresses. Mom told her to go change again, and this time she came down wearing one of HER pretty summer dresses. However, we were all hungry so Mom just said: "You know what, it's one of her dresses. I don't care if she wears it during dinner; and if it gets dirty it's her fault." So, finally, we got to eat dinner.

The Zoo

Yesterday we went to the zoo. Here's a poem to tell you what we did:

A Trip to the Zoo
By Charis Jacobson

My family and I
Went to the zoo;
We saw lions, monkeys,
And a rhinoceros too.

We saw an elephant
Put on a show;
We all wanted
More fun, so...

We took a ride
On the merry-go-round
Spinning this way,
And going up and down.

We saw a giraffe
Eat his lunch.
We were hungry,
So we ate our lunch.

We looked at the bonobos
And saw a baby
Sitting on the lap
Of mama monkey

We rode the train
Around the tracks
Saw ducks and goats
And then came back.

We saw some fish
Swim in a tank
And saw wild cats
In their cage.

We came home
And had ice cream
Going to the zoo
Was such a treat!

The zoo was so much fun! I think my favorite was the baby bonobo. He was sitting on his mama's lap, and when we came and looked at him he put his hands and nose on the glass and stared at us. He was so cute!

Another one of my favorites was the elephant. He nodded his head, balanced on the tree stump, lifted his foot and his trunk and held his pose, then he got down, danced, backed up, and skipped forward. He got a treat for each trick he did.

That's all we did. But it was so much fun!!!

Silly Little Girl

On the way to Awana a few nights ago Mom asked Kenna to say her Bible verse. Her verse is "God is truthful." Mom said: "God is truthful means God keeps his..." Kenna, who for the first time, was carrying her dues, two quarters to pay for something that has to do with Awana. So, when Mom said that, she finished the sentence:
"Coins?"

Shooting Star Poem

A Shooting Star

A yellow flash
Shines in the night.
I stare
At the air.
So near,
Yet so far,
A shooting star.

The Thing

For my school work a had to write a story about The Thing. Here's what I came up with:

It was late at night. Everyone was asleep, when, suddenly:
“AAHHH!” The screams of my brothers filled the air.
“What is it?” Tobin could barely get the words out.
“Make it go away!” Arden said frantically.
They were staring at the closet. Somehow the door had mysteriously opened, and a figure was emerging from the shadows. Slime dripped from its mouth. It was an ugly green color, and its yellow eyes stared at them menacingly. It smelled awful. Long green feet poked out from beneath its huge body, and it began to move toward them.
“Rroww,” it growled.
“Attack of the slime monster! Hide!” Tobin yelled. All of a sudden, Arden grabbed his pillow and began to whack it. The monster fell on the ground, and Arden continued to whack it.
“Ow, ow, stop it, that hurts!” A voice came from inside the monster. The brothers looked at each other. Tobin climbed down from his bunk to get a closer look. Arden reached toward the monster and pulled at its head. The head came off, revealing . . .
“Charis!” The boys gasped.
“Surprise!” I said loudly.
“Where did you get that costume?” Tobin asked.
“From a friend.” I answered. “Um, Tobin, why are you in your underwear?”
“Um, I’m out of pajamas,” he answered. He scurried up the ladder as fast as he could. We all got back in bed, and the night went on with no more events.

The next night, a figure emerged from the closet.
“Oh, go away,” Tobin said, rolling his eyes.
“We know it’s you, Charis,” Arden said, annoyed. The creature moved toward them.
“Um, Arden? Maybe it’s not Charis. . .”
“I’ll g-go see,” he replied uncertainly. He went to my room. I was sound asleep in bed. “Tobin, uh Charis is asleep in her bed.
“If it’s not Charis, then. . . what is it?” They turned toward the monster.
“AAAHHHHHHHHHH!”

Just a Head and a Coat

I took my blue coat and put Lucan's arms in the sleeves, then zipped him up in it. The coat is almost as long as him , so it looked like his body had disappeared! He liked it for a few seconds, then he wanted it off. It was so funny!

About the Finals . . .

For those of you who have not heard about it, I did not make it to the Finals. I ranked 144. However, I can try again next year and maybe I'll make it.

Two Winnie the Pooh Fans

Apparently there are now two Winnie the Pooh fans in our family. Kenna has liked Winnie the Pooh for a while, and I caught Tobin reading "The Complete Tales of Winnie the Pooh" in the car a few days ago.

P.S. Tobin wants me to delete this entry.

The Bible Bee

For those of you who don't know what the Bible Bee is, I will tell you: It's kind of like a contest where kids say bible verses. For the local round there's an oral round where we say as many verses as we can to the judges in ten minutes. After that we had a written test. There were two hundred questions and we had one hour to answer them. Only two people finished the test. I was one of those two people. At the end of the day there was a contest for the top five winners. That's when we got our trophies. All of the Primary group went on stage, and the director announced the winners. I thought for sure that if I was one of the top five I would have fourth or fifth place. So after the director had announced the fifth, fourth, third, and second place I thought: "Oh well, better luck next time." But when he said "And in first place-what a sweetheart we have here-Charis Jacobson!" I was so shocked I laughed. Me? I was first place? I went and sat in the first place chair while the director explained the rules for the final round. We would take turns saying verses to the judges, and if we started over, added a word, didn't say a word, didn't say the reference before and after the verse, or passed, we had to sit down. Since I was in first place I went first. I got the first two verses right, Philippians 4:13 and Genesis 1:1-2, then I had to pass. But the boy in second place, Kyle, messed up his verse, so he had to sit down too. But since we had both gotten the verses wrong or passed, we did it again. I got Matthew 15:1-9. I would have gotten it right, but I said whoever instead of anyone, so I had to sit down. But then Kyle sang Deuteronomy 7:22-25 (and the rules said you're not supposed to sing the verses), so both of us got first place. I'm still waiting to know if I'm invited to the finals. I hope I am. I won a first place trophy, four tickets to a ball game, and 200 dollars!! Also, each of us got a bag of goodies for participating in the Bible Bee. 8:30 tonight is when they announce the winners. I can't wait!

Lucan's New Dance

Lately Lucan's been a little into dancing. He only knows three dance moves, which he made up himself. His dance moves are: 1) stomping his feet, 2) bending his knees up and down (he sticks his rear end out while he does it; it's hilarious!) 3) spinning around (I guess he didn't really make it up, but likes to do it).

My New "Glasses"

I have contacts!! I'm so excited! I got them yesterday. As long as I can take them out and put them in without much difficulty I can have them. I'm glad, because now I can wear sunglasses! NOW the sun won't be in my eyes!

My Sewing Days

Lately I've been doing a lot of sewing. I've had to sew a rip in Kenna's duck's leg, a rip in my snake, and two rips in Tobin's snake. I didn't really have to I guess, but I wanted to. It's fun. I have also worked on and finished a stuffed snake made out of a tight leg. The material had been stretched out with Kenna playing with it; so now it's as tall as her! I have been working on a stuffed horse too. So far I've got the back legs finished. I'm going to give the snake and the horse to Sammy and Sarah, friends of ours who live in the neighborhood. Sammy's four and Sarah's two. Since the tight legs are white I'm going to let Sammy and Sarah decorate them, 'cause I don't know how I would decorate them. I hope they'll like their new stuffed animals. I think I'm going to do some more sewing things when I'm finished with Sarah's horse!

Simple Pleasure Hiakus

Robin
I hear a robin
Peeping in a nearby tree.
Its sound is joyful.

Wind Rushing
As I ride my bike
I can hear the wind rushing.
A sound of nature.

Water Patterns
I watch as water
Trickles down the driveway in
A simple pattern.

God's Sun
The sun is shining.
It is a beautiful day
Created by God.

Autumn
Leaves fall to the ground.
Nature is all around me.
It is a fall day.

Rain
When I listen I
Can hear the pit-ter pat-ter of
The rain falling down.

Sounds of the Night
A cricket chirping.
Dogs barking somewhere nearby.
An owl hooting.

A Dog
A nice lady is
Taking a dog for a walk.
The dog sniffs my hand.

Flowers
The smell of pretty
New flowers blooming with so
Many bright colors.

The Trees
Ever so many
Tall trees waving in the wind.
What a sight to see.
Branches move slightly.
Leaves rustle gently, with a
Soft, wonderful sound.
So many different
Colors of green leaves adorn
The trees that I see.

Pictures
Looking at pictures
Brings back different memories
Of times and places.

Smoke
Smoke of a fire
Curling up a chimney and
Climbing to the sky.

Kittens
As I watch kittens
Play, I'm filled with happiness.
Play, young kittens, play.

Ripples in the Water
Throw a rock into
Water. Watch the ripples get
Bigger and bigger.

Piano Music
Playing music on
The piano is fun to do,
And fun listening to.

You may wonder why I'm writing haiku's. I don't know myself. I just had this idea a few days ago: I could write simple pleasure haiku's. However, after I wrote 32 of them, I couldn't think of much other simple pleasures. So I thought of an idea for a book. Each chapter could be different kinds of haiku's. I didn't write ALL 32 of my haiku's on this post. That would be too much. So I just wrote 24 of them. You may think that "The Trees" haiku isn't a haiku at all. But it is. It's just a poem with 3 haiku's in it. Well, That's all I have to write about.

Silly Kenna

Kenna has been being very funny the last few days and I wanted to tell you what she's been up to.

A few days ago: "Ahhh! Buggy! Come to me, buggy. You want me, buggy? You want Kenna?"

This morning: Kenna walks out onto the back porch. Lucan is sitting in the shade. Her first words to him are: "Hi Bud."

This afternoon: Arden is drinking out of a water bottle. Kenna screams: "No! Dat mine!

When she plays with her dolls: "Waaa. Baby crying. Here baby. You need diaper change?"

When Mom finishes reading her a story: Kenna: "More, more." Mom: "Not right now." Kenna: "Awww."

Nap time: Mom puts Kenna down for a nap. If she or Dad is not lying on my bed she sneaks out, comes downstairs, and hides unless someone finds her, and then she goes back upstairs.

News about the Talent show

It was great! I had so much fun! I was near the middle, but what the other kids did went by so fast it was my turn in no time at all. My legs must have been shaking when I went up there, but once I sat down I forgot that there even was an audience. I played the piece perfectly with no mistakes, and when I finished bobbed a little curtsy that mama said was very nice. Daddy didn't put it in the video though. Here, you can watch the video that daddy took:

Talent Show

Tonight is the talent show. I'm playing piano in it. The two songs I'm playing are Praise to the Lord and Battle Hymn of the Republic. I'm a little nervous, but confident that I'll do all right. They're fun to play. I'll tell you how it went later. Bye

Collins School

A few weeks ago I went to Collins School. I had to dress up as I would have in 1879, and I found out what it was like to go to school back then. First we hung up our bonnets and lunches in the cloak room. Then we lined up on stage while the teachers showed us where we would sit. I got a seat in the front row.

When we were all seated the teacher showed us the school things children would have used back then. There was a history book, a slate, a slate pencil and eraser (a sock), a copybook, and the McGuffey reader. After we had all seen the things we said the Pledge of Allegiance and sang My Country 'Tis of Thee. After that we got out our McGuffey readers. The kids with a one on their name tag went on stage first. I was a one. We read the first few paragraphs together, then answered questions about them. Then it was the twos turn, after that the threes turn. Then we made a craft.

After the craft the teacher told us about the history of the school. It took awhile, maybe an hour. Then the teacher gave us sheets of paper and we copied out the letters from the copybook. After that it was lunch/recess time. I barely had time to eat my lunch (or maybe it was that big apple I had) before the teacher called for the kids to pack up their lunches in the cloak room. We played a short game of Ante Over, then we went back inside.

When we were all inside we had a math relay. First the ones, then the twos, then the threes. Guess who won the ones math relay? Me! I tied with another boy, but when the teacher said "Draw a line and add." the boy forgot to draw the plus sign. I remembered so I won. Before it was time to go we had a spelldown. It was easy. Each row stood up, one at a time, and the teacher gave them a word. The first person said the first letter, the second person the second letter and so on. No one spelled a word wrong. After that it was time to go.

Now I will tell you some facts about the school. It is the same brick building it was a hundred years ago, but the furniture had to be replaced. The old black stove and the floor in the cloak rooms are the same as it was a hundred years ago. When the school was being repainted and the blackboard was taken down one of the workers found some writing on the wall. When one of the teachers saw it she recognized her mothers name on the wall, along with the names of the people who were going to that school at the time. She can't ask her mother about it because she's dead, so it remains a mystery. Well, that's all I have to say. Here are some pictures so you can see my costume, the school, my desk, the old black stove, and the cloak room.

Easter

Yesterday was Easter. I did a lot of things that day. I'll go through it step-by-step. When I went downstairs I found a chocolate cross waiting for me at my plate and a small bunny hiding some chocolate. Mom offered me a Resurrection cookie. After breakfast we went to church. Lots of people said my dress looked pretty. First I watched a little video, then I sang some songs, then Pastor Rob played Egg Smash Hunt. He would ask a question, than he would choose a kid to answer. If the kid got the question right they got to go up on stage and choose a bowl. It was covered with a napkin, so they couldn't tell whether it was empty, had a hard-boiled egg in it, or had a raw egg in it. Any one who went on stage got a prize. I didn't. After that we sang some more songs. After that there were different activities to do. I went to the craft area, but instead ended up making an origami Easter lily. I didn't have time to make the stem. Then I watched a Easter carol until Dad picked me up.

[Mom is adding this: Charis started this post on Monday, and it is now Wednesday night, very late. I am taking my laptop to the homeschool convention tomorrow, so I am taking the liberty of posting this! Love you, Charis!]

New Haircut

Today Mom and I had a Mother-Daughter-Date. Afterward Mom and I went to Wal-mart. I met a girl at the Mother-Daughter class named Savanna. She had a really pretty haircut. She and I might be able to get together sometime....Anyways, I really liked her haircut. So I got mine cut the same way. Everyone says it looks really cute. I put pictures of it on my blog so you can see it too.

P.S. I got a new jump-rope at Wal-mart. Now I don't have to use Mom's anymore! :-)

Another Video?!

After Tobin saw that I had put my Report for School video on my blog he told me he would like for Mom to make another Report for School video with him in it too. Goodness
me!

Oh, Tobin

Right now Tobin just told me he wished he had a blog of his own. Maybe he will someday.
Hey! Don't put bunny ears on me Tobin!

A Cute Boy and a Poem

Today at lunch we were reading sonlight reading, and right in the middle of it we were interrupted by a loud "Ha-yeah-a-yeah!" from Lucan. We all turned and looked at him and he smiled a big smile as if he was pleased with himself (and I think he was!) and let out a laugh. I guess he just wanted some attention. After all, Mom was getting all the attention!

Here's a little poem and a Japanese poem I made up about spring:

Snow is melting,
Bee's are buzzing,
Flower's are blooming,
Spring is coming!

When I look outside
I see the sun shining and
The flowers blooming.

Spring!

Spring is here! I'm going to repeat that, so if you don't want to see about 20 more "spring is here!" then turn off the computer! Spring is here! Spring is here! Spring is here! Spring is here! Spring is here! Spring is here! Spring is here! Spring is here! Spring is here! Spring is here! Sorry, I'm just excited. The snow is melting, it's getting warmer, and today my brothers and I jumped on the trampoline in shorts! Just one more "spring is here" then that's all. Spring is here!

Wrong CD

Yesterday morning we went through our usual routine. But when it was time for bible songs it turned out that the wrong CD was in the CD player! So instead of the bible songs we heard "Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Canary Islands," before Mama turned it off!

Stories

I'm just going to post stories on this entry, so don't expect anything else!

Stray Cat

Jane loved to grow tomatoes. One day when she went outside she saw a stray cat finishing a meal of tomatoes that had fallen to the ground."You poor thing," she said.Jane ran inside, grabbed a small wooden dollhouse she had played with when she was little, paint, and a coat and ran back outside. She set the dollhouse down, opened the paint, and ran back inside to get a paint brush. Then slowly and carefully she painted the dollhouse a pretty shade of light blue. Jane waited for the dollhouse to dry. While she waited she played and made friends with the cat. When it was dry she got a little red blanket from inside the house and three bowls. Jane filled one bowl with milk, one with water, and one with cat food. Jane already had a cat of her own so she knew where to get the cat food. Then she sat back and waited to see what the cat would do. The cat looked at the house and meowed. She meowed again and went in the house. Jane stroked the cat's furry black back. The cat purred and went to sleep. "I'm going to call you Blackie because of you're black back," Jane said. She was glad. She felt like she had lifted a weight off herself by giving that cat a home.

Bread

Once there lived a rich man who was not very well liked because his temper would explode at the slightest thing. His name was Ben. One day when he sat down to eat he noticed that he didn't have any bread. Now bread was his favorite food so you can imagine how his reaction was. He stormed to the kitchen. "What is the meaning of this?" he roared at the cook.
"Wh-wh-what is the meaning of what?" the cook stuttered.
"My bread is gone!" Ben yelled at him.
"Sir, please believe me. It was on your plate when I went back to the kitchen."
"Well it's gone now." Ben muttered. Then he said louder "I'm going out to look for the thief. Stay here and KEEP MY BREAD SAFE!" He stomped out the door.
Ben checked every ally until he found the thief. "Ah-ha," he said. "You have stolen my bread. You are a thief. Give me back my bread."
"Oh no you don't. I made it this morning." The robber said casually.
"What proof do you have of that?" Ben answered.
"What proof do you have that it's your bread?" The robber replied. That last remark made Ben mad. He lunged forward and grabbed the bread. "It's mine!" He said.
"It's mine!" The robber said. The bread broke in half. Ben burst into tears.
"M-m-my breeead." He wailed.
"M-m-my food." The robber wailed. Then he looked at Ben, looked at his half of the bread, and ran.
"Oh no you don't! You'll never get away with stealing my bread!" Ben yelled. He threw his half of the bread on the ground and began to chase the robber. And from what I have heard he is still chasing him to this day.

Well, I've run out of stories. So that's all.
P.S. Remember the Spider Story blog entry? Well, Spider sent me a note saying: Dear Charis, Wow! Thanks! We loved what you sent to Spider's Corner! We hope you are enjoying Spider and we can't wait to see more of your great work! Love, Spider.

Report for School

Day before yesterday I had to "Find the facts" for my language arts assignment. I had to pick a story from "Little House on Rocky Ridge," "Socks," or the Bible and answer these questions: What happened, Who was involved, Why did this happen, How did it occur, Where did it happen, When did it happen, and What was the result. I choose a story from the Bible about Jesus feeding over 5,000 people.

Here are the answers to the questions I asked: What happened? Jesus fed over 5,000 with 5 loaves and 2 fish. Who was involved? Jesus, his disciples, the boy who gave his lunch, and over 5,000 people. Why did this happen? The people had come a long way to hear Jesus, and they were very hungry. How did it occur? The disciples started passing out the fish and bread, and there was enough to go around. Where did it happen? On a hill next to the sea of Galilee. When did it happen? During Jesus' time on earth. What was the result? The people ate and were satisfied, and there were 12 baskets left over!

After I had "Found the facts" I was supposed to write a newspaper article. So I did. But I wasn't finished. I had more to do. Yesterday for language arts I had to do a "TV report." I practiced saying it, and then Mom video-taped me. I made a toy microphone to use also. I put the video on my blog so you (meaning my blog readers) could watch it.

Spider Story

I bet you're wondering what the title is all about. I don't have a story about a spider to write about. Spider is the name of a magazine I get every other month or so. So why is the title of this blog entry Spider Story? Well, I'll tell you. At the back of every Spider magazine is a This month for Spider's corner. This part of the magazine tells of a drawing, or poem, or a story that the kids who get Spider magazine can send in, and for this month it's a 150 word story. I had never sent in a drawing, or anything before, so I was really excited when I saw what it was for this month. I asked Mom and Dad the day before yesterday about it, and they said I could send in a story, if I could get it mailed tomorrow, which was yesterday. I bet they didn't think I could do it, but I could. The story is on its way to Illinois right now! The reason I had to get it mailed on the 21st of January was because the story had to get there by the 25th so that they could put their favorites in the May/June Spider magazine. I'm really excited. I absolutely can not wait to get the May/June Spider magazine. It won't be the next magazine because I just got the January magazine. Now I bet you're wondering what my 150 word story was about that I sent in. Well, I'll tell you. I thought I could send in a poem called Follow Your Dreams that I made up. But Mom said that I probably shouldn't send in a poem, because they wanted a story. But I wanted to write a poem anyway, so I wrote a poem about Kenna called My Sister. Maybe you want to read it? I guess you can.

My Sister, by Charis Jacobson.
I have a little sister,
Her name is Kenna.
That's not how she says it,
It sounds like Nenna!

She gets into
All sorts of trouble,
In the bath,
She eats the bubbles.

Here are some
Of the things she's done:
Scribble on the wall,
Run away at the mall.

Every single day,
She has fun,
In every single way,
Under the sun.

We play a game,
She runs and hides,
I come and find her,
When I count to five.

She likes to hop,
like a bunny.
In other ways,
She's very funny.

She's very loud
When she screams.
But she also really likes
Ice cream.

When I tickle her,
She laughs and smiles,
But when she's mad,
She's mad for a while.

When I go away,
She says ggrrr,
And that's really all I have
To say about her.
My little sister.

Like it? Mom really likes it. She says it's a great poem, but I should probably save it for a poetry contest, because they want a story. The story I wrote is about: Kenna scribbles on the wall with a pencil, and a week later, she finds the markers. It is exactly 150 words. Well, I guess I'd better go. Mom wants me to clean up the office. :-( Well, see you next time.

Update

Well I haven't written on my blog for a while. That's because there's been a lot going on. O.K., let's see. I have a lot to write about. First of all, Christmas gifts:
I got a C. ornament for my tree, a game called Kingsburg, (for the whole family,) some Peter Rabbit movies, 4 If I Were a Kid in Ancient... books, (ancient Egypt, ancient China ect.) a new bike helmet, a Colorado puzzle, a gift card to JcPennys, I got new shoes with it :-), a Dorthy doll, a fuzzy purple scarf, a gingerbread ornament kit, a Christmas tree headband, a art kit :-), roller blades, (Mama got them used, but I don't mind,) a grown-up lady's watch, a bear stamp set, and a journal that mama made for me. That's a lot, and I'm happy with all my gifts.

Now, what else did I want to update? Oh yes.

We've started school again. I'm sort of glad. Most of the time I didn't know what to do!

Also mama found a typing program. I'm ahead of my brother's. Mama says that's probably because I play piano, and my fingers are used to moving around on the keys. Now I know how to type all the letters on the computer, plus a few signs.

Guess what! Mama and I went to Hobby Lobby today. I got a little (or not so little) card board mailbox, 2 bags of pom-poms, 20 peel and stick sheets of foam, and 3 plastic masks ready for crafting.

I made a new best friend! Her name is Amberly. I'm going to her house Thursday after P.E. I'm making her a card too, and a whole Origami box of stuff!

Well I said I would write a story on my blog a while ago, and I did not write one, so here it is:

Tobin and the President

Tobin wanted to meet the president. So one day he took a trip. When he got there he discovered that the president was his own brother!
"What are you doing here?" he angrily asked his brother Arden. "Where's Obama? Where's the real president?"
"Well," said Arden. "These people thought I would make a good president, so they kicked Obama out and put me in the white house. And that's all there is to tell." He smiled at Tobin.
"But, but that's impossible!" sputtered Tobin. "You don't even know how to spell president!"
"Yes I do. P-r-e-s-i-d-e-n-t.
"But last time you-but how did you-your spelling has-!" Tobin fainted. When he came to
he was lying on a couch. For some reason it was hard to breath. Then he realized the problem.
"Arden get off! You're sitting on me!"
"I think you mean president Arden. And I'm the president. I can do as I want."
"But I can't breath!"
"I wasn't finished yet. Your ordering me around. I guess you'll just have to go to jail."
Tobin was determined not to go to jail. So he pushed his rear end up in the air, and Arden went flying onto the carpet.
"Ouch said Arden." Tobin punched him in the stomach.
"Oh yeah?" said Arden, and kicked him on the back. The fight was on.
Just then one of the guards came in. He stared in astonishment at them with his mouth
open. Then he came to.
"I'm sorry, but presidents don't fight. You will just have to get out of the white house." he said."Kickers!" 10 strong looking men came into the room, and began kicking them out of the room.
Since Arden wasn't president anymore, the two brothers went to live in Tobin's little pink house in Pennsylvania.
After a few weeks they awoke to find the president sitting at their dinning room table. He said:
"I'm tired of being president. Pack up your stuff and get going. I'm staying here."
Tobin and Arden looked at each other and shrugged.
"I guess it can't hurt to have 2 presidents." Tobin said.
So the two packed up their stuff, and moved to the white house. And that is the tale of how their came to be two presidents in the U.S.A.

Like it? Well I guess that's all. Bey
