The Story of Baby Zaden

On Tuesday, August 23, around 9:00 Mama started having contractions. She shooed us to bed so that she could get some rest and told me to sleep on the couch. Around 4:00 A.M. she woke me up and told me to tell grandma it was time to go to the hospital. We got there around 5, and by then mama was having some painful contractions. The mid-wife, Jo-Ann, asked me if I wanted to help catch the baby. I said yes, and around 1 1/2 hours later I had helped deliver my first baby. He was the biggest of all mama's babies (8.3 lbs). I held him for large amounts of time and was sad when I had to give him up. I took some pictures of his first bath and when we got his footprints. We had to leave soon after that, and when we got home I think I took a little nap. The next day around 1:00 mama and Zaden got to come home. We welcomed them with homemade signs.
